Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg, Tennessee is situated in the heart of Appalachia with the Smoky Mountains as a backdrop, with tourism and the commerce thereof as its lifeblood. Gatlinburg is a city of instances, of one-off’s, of different experiences connected by the asphalt between them. Temporary homes are found in motels, with all-encompassing experiences are found in a putt-putt golf course, or next-door at a dinner show, or in an arcade — each of these a very different experience than the one next-door. The arcades, golf courses, and stages curate these experiences though the use of a thin section, an exterior in an interior.
