A common theme in my work is the relationship between the inside and outside or, more recently, the lack thereof. In this case the interior is a common interior form, concave, while the exterior is the exterior of the exterior, of the interior, or the convex. This piece caused me to explore the relationship between these, and because of the simple wonderment it causes, I consider it one of my greatest successes. This piece was the winner of the Potters Award at the 2018 college of art student show.
